I was snuggling with Maya tonight, right after reading to her before bedtime. We had a long day that started at 6 a.m. when both kids woke up in our tent, ready for the day to begin. From then, they ate donuts, watched a little more TV then normal (while Will and I recovered from our camping trip at the Farm and early wake up call), painted a birdhouse, ran nerf bullets for her brother and a friend, shopped for an elusive butterfly catcher and hung out with our friend Thomas.
"What was the best part of your day?" I asked her sleepily.
"Youuuuuuuu!" She responded.
Best ever!
