Guillermo and Maya both had Spring break at the end of last month. Big papa came to help out with the kids while Will and I worked. The kids loved having him here. Maya doesn't stop talking when she is around him, and her nonstop chatter is one sign that she is pretty content.
Despite a lot of rain, Guillermo attended a soccer camp throughout the week. He was the youngest one, and had a little trouble with that, but overall, he had fun.
Guillermo went to a few birthday parties during the break, including one where the kids made their own shields and daggers.
A day after the dagger and shield party, we went to the N.C. Renaissance Faire and watched battle after battle.
